Welcome! This has been created to help the Trumbauer family offset the costs of Aidan's upcoming brain surgery.
Aidan will be 2 in October. He is a Triplet (!), with 2 sisters, Addilyn and Olivia. They were born early and overcame many obstacles in their first 2 years of life. Aidan has, especially, already been through so much.
He developed Craniosynotosis and had extensive surgery when he was 3 months old. A few weeks ago, Aidan fell and lost consciousness. He was rushed to the hospital and although he suffered no lasting injuries from the fall itself, in the process of imaging his brain, they discovered a large cyst in his cerebellum. It was determined that he needs extensive surgery to completely remove the cyst. He will barely be 2 before he has his SECOND serious surgery on his beautiful head.
This is a dangerous, stressful and expensive process. Aidan's parents, Courtney and Patrick work very hard to make sure Aidan and his sisters never go without. And even with insurance, the costs for his emergency stay, images, special helmet, upcoming surgery and hospital stay will be monumental.
As friends and family, we want to do everything we can to help them cope with the bills, so they can focus on just being there for Aidan.
